With the "dePuzzleMe" app you can convert photos (directly from your camera such as selfies) or others from your photo collection into a
picture puzzle.
A freely selectable square section of the original image is cut into 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 square individual images of the same size. These individual images are then thrown together and put together to form a new square.
With this picture puzzle created in such an easy way you can surprise people from your contact list and surprise them
challenge you to solve the puzzle. For this purpose, the "mixed" image is transmitted to the recipient, which in the center of the image is surrounded by a
conspicuous notice was added. It points out that the picture puzzle can be solved with the "dePuzzleMe" app.
The conspicuous note should also make it easier to recognize such puzzles in the recipient's photo collection.
To send a picture puzzle, the "share" function is accessed, i.e. the app itself does not have (and does not need) one

By the presence of the conspicuous note in the middle of the picture the app recognizes whether the picture is a challenge to de-puzzle
or if you want create a new puzzle from the picture.
"dePuzzleMe" is available for free (but with IAPs) from the App Store.
With the "myCodec" program, a file of any type and (almost) any size can be encrypted in such a way that only "myCodec" can decrypt it again. Since this happens with an unusually long key (~32000 bit) and not a commonly used procedure, I consider the encryption to be unbreakable - at least as long as the used key (also generated by "myCodec") is kept secret. I wrote the program to practice multi-threading with an example. There is certainly already enough standard software for encrypted data transfer. But if someone is interested in another method, I'd be happy to give away my exercise result and offer it for download. The Windows version has been checked with MS Defender, the MacOS version has been notarized by Apple and can be started without hesitation.
